Job Description:

This is role is to support our growing portfolio of client projects. As we scale, we need a senior visualization expert who can bridge business needs and technical delivery, ensuring our clients get actionable insights from their data. You’ll play a central role in designing and delivering impactful BI solutions for global clients. You’ll work closely with data engineering teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into powerful dashboards and reports.

Job Responsibility:

  • End-to-End BI Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Power BI solutions, from data ingestion and ETL to visualization and security
  • Advanced ETL Development: Build and optimize complex data transformation pipelines using Power Query (M language) and external ETL tools (e.g., DataBricks, Matillion, Glue etc)
  • Data Modeling: Architect robust data models using Star/Snowflake schemas, ensuring high performance and accuracy across large datasets
  • Hands-on Development: Develop sophisticated DAX measures, calculated columns, and complex reports that solve specific business problems
  • Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in reports, DAX queries, and underlying SQL views
  • Governance & Security: Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace permissions, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in Power BI Service
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and stay ahead of the curve with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI updates

Requirements:

  • Power BI Ecosystem: Mastery of Power BI Desktop, Service, Gateway, and Paginated Reports
  • Expert SQL: Deep knowledge of T-SQL or PL/SQL for complex data extraction and stored procedures
  • Advanced DAX: Expert-level ability to write optimized measures using functions like CALCULATE, FILTER, and Time Intelligence
  • ETL & Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience with ETL tools (DataBricks/Matillion is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps for report lifecycle management
  • M Language: Proficiency in Power Query M for advanced data mashups and cleaning
  • Strong communication skills to engage with clients and internal team
  • A proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
