Senior Data Scientist

• Lead the development of pricing and demand forecasting models for the Travel, Hospitality, or Ecommerce industries
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and make actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with Bain & Co. consultants through year-end, ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer and establishing best practices for future data science initiatives
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Python and modern data science frameworks
• Work with large-scale data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Databricks) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred
• AWS experience acceptable if willing to learn Azure)
• Play a key role in establishing a data-driven culture and building internal expertise around advanced analytics and ML

• 5+ years of experience in data science (flexible for candidates with strong academic backgrounds)
• Hands-on pricing and demand forecasting experience in the Travel, Hospitality, or Ecommerce industries
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Python with a focus on machine learning and predictive modeling
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to translate data insights into impactful business recommendations

Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, and the Azure platform (AWS experience okay if willing to learn Azure)
