Job Description:

The Senior Data Scientist role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in data science projects, with a strong focus on predictive analytics, data design, and machine learning. Candidates should be proficient in Python and R, and possess excellent communication skills. A master's degree is preferred, along with experience in client-facing roles.

Job Responsibility:

Driving new data insights to uncover business opportunities & revenue streams
Having a firm understanding of statistics and data visualization for communication
Understanding business growth areas & how to utilize important data
Being responsible for identifying new analytic trends/data needs and repeatable analytic solutions
Working with key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions
Identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets using various supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms such as regression, classification or clustering ML approaches where applicable
Being experienced in Data Wrangling and Dynamic Model Tuning
Working on projects leveraging expertise in data science, artificial-intelligence and machine learning
Assisting in breaking down complex business problems, developing solutions, and delivering with a high degree of focus on client satisfaction
Conducting market research, developing a point-of-view and communicating effectively back to clients and stakeholders
Bringing innovative thinking, resourcefulness leveraging best practices and creativity to achieve successful client outcomes
Establishing relationships with our clients at the appropriate levels, gaining an understanding of the project work and problems encountered
Working with data sets of varying degrees of size and complexity including both structured and unstructured data
Piping and processing massive data-streams in distributed computing environments
Implementing batch and real-time model scoring
Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
Applying business knowledge to analyze data, develop reports and solve problems
Performing ad hoc analyses of data depending on business needs
Participating in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with data stakeholders

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment
Minimum 7 years of experience participating in projects focused on Predictive Analytics, Data Design, Statistics, AI/ML, or ML Ops
Minimum 7 years of experience using Python and/or R to analyze disparate datasets
Ability to both drive development as an individual developer as well as oversee more junior developers

Nice to have:

Master’s degree preferred
Exercises sound judgment with minimal support from practice executives through structured problem identification, mitigation, and resolution
