The Senior Data Scientist role at NTT DATA requires over 7 years of experience in data science, focusing on predictive analytics, AI/ML, and statistics. Job Responsibility:

  • Driving new data insights to uncover business opportunities & revenue streams
  • Have firm understanding of statistics and data visualization for communication
  • Understand business growth areas & how to utilize important data
  • Be responsible for identifying new analytic trends/ data needs and repeatable analytic solutions
  • Able to work with key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using various supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms
  • Be experienced in Data Wrangling and Dynamic Model Tuning
  • Working on projects leveraging expertise in data science, artificial-intelligence and machine learning
  • Assist in breaking down complex business problems, developing solutions, and delivering with high degree of focus on client satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, develop point-of-view and communicate effectively back to clients and stakeholders
  • Bring innovative thinking, resourcefulness leveraging best practices and creativity to achieve successful client outcomes
  • Establish relationships with clients at appropriate levels, gain understanding of project work and problems encountered
  • Work with data sets of varying degrees of size and complexity including both structured and unstructured data
  • Pipe and process massive data-streams in distributed computing environments
  • Implement batch and real-time model scoring
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
  • Apply business knowledge to analyze data, develop reports and solve problems
  • Perform ad hoc analyses of data depending on business needs
  • Participate in analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with data stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment
  • 7+ year(s) of experience participating in projects that focused on one or more of the following areas: Predictive Analytics, Data Design, Statistics, AI/ML, ML Ops
  • 7+ years of experience using Python and/or R to analyze disparate datasets
  • Must have ability to both drive development as an individual developer as well as oversee more junior developers
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • 2+ years of experience architecting high-impact GenAI solutions for diverse clients

  • Exercises sound judgment with minimal support from practice executives through structured problem identification, mitigation, and resolution
