Job Description:

We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to lead innovation at the intersection of AI/ML and product engineering. If you thrive on solving complex problems, building production-ready AI solutions, and mentoring future leaders—this role is for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify product features that can be enabled using AI/ML and own the journey from design to production deployment
  • Work closely with the engineering manager for estimation, integration and production deployment
  • Identify new techniques that would benefit customers and ensure that some of them are adopted
  • Showcase ML expertise through thought leadership articles and show and tell - POC’s
  • Lead a small team of data scientists
  • Build a culture of merit in the team

Requirements:

  • M.Tech from IIT (CS) or B.Tech/B.E from IIT/NIT
  • Should have worked in the industry for at least 6.5 - 10 years
  • Should be capable of conceiving original ideas and coding them as working algorithms
  • Should have worked on 2 problems from definition to deployment
  • Solved problems using Machine Learning in at least one area – NLP, CV or Predictive Analytics
  • Excellent programming skills and must be able to implement complex algorithms in Python
  • Extensive understanding of ML and statistical algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with use of standard machine learning libraries such as OpenCV, Tensorflow, Keras etc.
  • Capability of converting a PoC to production quality code and subsequently deploy
  • Good communication skills both Oral and Written
  • Mentored or led a small team of ML engineers

Nice to have:

  • Bigdata experience
  • Credited courses focused on linear algebra, stochastic models, pattern recognition, design and analysis of algorithms, machine learning
  • Should be capable of converting theory to practice by reading relevant papers
