Position Summary: The Senior Data Scientist will support pharmacist and technician staffing analytics by owning analytical workflows, driving ongoing metric updates, and delivering ad‑hoc insights tied to a widely used composite staffing metric. This role is part of a data science team focused on enabling workforce planning decisions through rigorous analytics, forecasting, and performance measurement. The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing analytical logic behind staffing metrics, ensuring data quality and consistency, and responding to evolving business questions through ad‑hoc analysis. The role will also support forecasting efforts that inform staffing plans, labor optimization, and operational readiness. This position partners closely with TA, operations, workforce planning, and finance stakeholders to ensure outputs are actionable, trusted, and aligned with business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Support pharmacist and technician staffing analytics by owning analytical workflows, driving ongoing metric updates, and delivering ad‑hoc insights tied to a widely used composite staffing metric

Partner closely with TA, operations, workforce planning, and finance stakeholders to ensure outputs are actionable, trusted, and aligned with business needs
Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience in a data science role (time series modeling required)
Experience supporting staffing, labor, workforce, or operational analytics in a business environment
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, metric development, and automation
Strong experience querying and manipulating large datasets using SQL
Hands‑on experience maintaining, enhancing, or operationalizing business‑critical metrics or analytical products
Experience performing ad‑hoc analysis to support operational or leadership decision‑making
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners to deliver analytical insights
Nice to have:
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate operational challenges into data‑driven insights
Ability to clearly communicate analytical results, assumptions, and limitations to non‑technical stakeholders
Experience with staffing models, labor forecasting, capacity planning, or workforce optimization
Familiarity with forecasting techniques applied to operational or labor drivers
Experience contributing to documentation, metric definitions, or standardized analytical processes
Comfort operating in fast‑moving environments with evolving priorities and frequent stakeholder requests
