Job Description

Join Ekimetrics, a leading data science and AI solutions provider, as a Senior Data Scientist in Marketing Analytics. In this role, you will lead challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across multiple industries, build bespoke analytics solutions, and drive high client value. You will also support the development of junior colleagues and engage in transversal topics such as thought leadership and innovation streams.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and scope new projects, ensuring the right analyses are applied to client questions and that the business case is achievable
  • Lead project teams, ensuring the delivery of highly valuable, effective data science solutions that meet client needs, and driving high client value
  • Support the development of junior colleagues, actively engaging in transversal topics such as thought leadership, innovation streams, knowledge management, and recruitment
  • Gather and analyze data, build statistical models, and translate quantitative insights into actionable strategic recommendations
  • Deliver results as a persuasive story
  • Support client retention and new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of junior consultants through knowledge sharing and mentorship
  • Help lead our fast growth by contributing to local and global initiatives such as Thought-Leadership, Knowledge Management, Recruitment, Culture, Gender Balance and Diversity teams, Pioneering Machine Learning/AI techniques

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, economics, operations research, business/MBA) from a leading academic institution
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis / Modeling / Advanced Analytics / Econometrics in a business setting, preferably in a client-facing consulting-oriented role
  • Passion for data, extensive knowledge of statistics or applied mathematics, experience using advanced analytical methodologies (e.g., regression analysis)
  • Digital and Marketing strategy curiosity
  • Experience with statistical software such as Python, R
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and media strategy, and the key questions for the modern CMO
  • Excellent communication skills – especially translating complex technical findings into plain language insights
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new and lasting client relationships across multiple industries
  • Team oriented and collaborative working style
  • Management experience and demonstrated ability to develop talent and build a high performing team
  • Project management and delivery expertise
  • Passion for joining a small team and desire to help the business grow quickly
