Senior Data Scientist – Recommender Systems & VLMs

• Develop and improve recommendation systems and vision language models
• Design and evaluate experiments
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of the platform
• Work on high-impact initiatives
• Influence strategic decisions
• Drive innovation across products used by millions of consumers and leading retail brands

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Product Analytics
• Strong proficiency in Python (experience with PySpark is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models, ideally recommendation systems and vision language models
• Experience with cloud and data technologies, such as AWS, DBT, Airflow, Databricks, and ETL pipelines

Experience with PySpark
