Search engines, web publishers, major advertising networks, and ad exchanges serve billions of ad impressions daily, generating terabytes of user interaction data in the process. This rapid expansion has created significant opportunities, alongside complex technical challenges that require intelligent, scalable solutions. The field of computational advertising has emerged as a multidisciplinary field that draws on information retrieval, data mining, machine learning, statistical modeling, optimization, linear algebra, and microeconomics to address the demanding problems inherent in modern online advertising. Job Responsibility:
Analyze revenue and quality impact of change in models or policies used to evaluate Ads
Perform exploratory analyses to react to emergent threats to suggest approaches to deal with them
Productionize analyses into dashboards for monitoring and alerting
Ability to independently run analyses and investigations
Inclination to explore mechanisms to automate analysis steps, undertake engineering orchestration
Requirements:
6+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM or Business-related field with strong emphasis on data analytics
Knowledge of SQL or something similar
Knowledge of Python and/or R in general coding as well as in data analysis
Good verbal and written communication skills
Technical competence & strong analytical skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of basic and/or advanced statistical methods / knowledge of machine learning disciplines
