We are a team that focuses on keeping the Microsoft Advertising ecosystem safe for users and compliant with policies.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze revenue and quality impact of change in models or policies used to evaluate Ads
  • Perform exploratory analyses to react to emergent threats to suggest approaches to deal with them
  • Productionize analyses into dashboards for monitoring and alerting
  • Ability to independently run analyses and investigations
  • Inclination to explore mechanisms to automate analysis steps, undertake engineering orchestration

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM or Business-related field with strong emphasis on data analytics
  • Knowledge of SQL or something similar
  • Knowledge of Python and/or R in general coding as well as in data analysis
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical competence & strong analytical skills

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of basic and/or advanced statistical methods / knowledge of machine learning disciplines
  • Having worked in a web search related company
