As a Senior Data Science and Machine Learning Specialistt, you will be the bridge between complex datasets and strategic business outcomes. You will be responsible for predicting trends and extracting meaningful recommendations by applying rigorous data science methodologies. This role requires a blend of mathematical expertise, statistical proficiency, and engineering mindset to design, test, and deploy models that solve real-world business challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and determine the most effective analytical approaches to support long-term goals
Model Development: Design and implement sophisticated ML models, hypotheses, and algorithms to support automated decision-making
Advanced Analytics: Apply data mining, predictive/prescriptive modeling, and advanced statistics to uncover complex relationships and trends within large datasets
Optimization & Scaling: Develop efficient data loading and augmentation techniques to enhance model accuracy and ensure solutions are robust enough for automated, large-scale production
Continuous Research: Stay at the forefront of the data science domain, identifying and adopting new tools and techniques to improve analysis efficiency and accuracy
Technical Integration: Work closely with cloud environments to ensure data-intensive applications are effectively deployed and maintained
Requirements:
7+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ETL processes, and Database Design
5+ years of experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Big Data, and BigQuery
Strong foundation in Statistics and mathematical modeling
Proficiency in designing scalable models suitable for automation
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
Nice to have:
Cloud DevOps: Experience deploying data pipelines or data-intensive applications using containerization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Development: Proficiency in Java or C#
Web Development: Experience in web application development is a significant plus
