Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler with strong experience in model-driven data development within complex financial data environments. In this role, you will design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models and use SAP PowerDesigner (including MDDE) to generate data structures and ETL artefacts that support regulatory and financial reporting. The position sits at the intersection of data modelling, DevOps practices and regulatory data management, ensuring that data models are directly integrated into automated delivery pipelines and version-controlled environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models using SAP PowerDesigner
  • Use PowerDesigner MDDE (Model Driven Development Environment) to generate DDL and ETL artefacts from models
  • Translate complex banking and regulatory requirements into scalable and maintainable data models
  • Write and optimize SQL for data profiling, validation and quality checks
  • Manage model versioning and database scripts using Git
  • Integrate data modelling workflows into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects and reporting teams to ensure models align with data pipelines and reporting structures
  • Contribute to data quality, governance and model standards within the organization

Requirements

  • Strong experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP PowerDesigner

  • Experience generating DDL and ETL artefacts from data models
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis, profiling and validation
