Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst.
Job Responsibility:
Lead or participate in moderately complex programs and initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities
Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality, data integrity, process, and control gaps
Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met and adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources leveraging domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
Drive planning and coordination on moderately complex remediation efforts acting as central point of contact
Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders
Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals
Support application development teams in the areas of code deployments, application support, access management, Microsoft Fabric administration and various non-functional requirements associated with application management
Work closely with development and operations teams to enhance software delivery processes using Azure DevOps, implement scalable CI/CD solutions, and automate infrastructure deployment
Requirements:
4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Data warehousing experience
Microsoft Fabric capacity administration
Dev-Ops experience support application development teams
Cloud based data management experience
Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including One Lake, Data Engineering, and Power BI integration
Support Human Resources Data applications and their development teams
Limited production/Non Prod support activities
Microsoft Fabric administration
Support database and application access control processes
Maintain and perform the code deployment process
Source Control & Versioning: Manage repositories in Git SaaS (Azure Repos, GitHub etc) and enforce best practices
Monitoring & Logging: Configure Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Prometheus for application and infrastructure monitoring
