Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to join the Data Analytics Services team within Independent Testing & Validation as part of Corporate Risk. This role involves developing and maintaining data extraction methods used for business lines utilizing analytical tools, PowerApp development, and SharePoint Online tools.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities
Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met
Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources
Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact
Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies

Requirements:

4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Strong SAS/SQL or related experience
Previous analytics experience
Experience with PowerApps development and maintaining SharePoint Online lists
Experience with data visualization (Tableau, SAS VA, Microsoft BI, etc.)
Experience with Independent Testing & Validation
SAS programming experience in complex data manipulations and macro processing
Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
Knowledge of connectivity and extraction of data from Oracle, Teradata, SQL, DB2, mainframe
Source data from multiple sources
Provide clear documentation of code
Develop relationships with and collaborate with others to clarify and develop requirements
Produce independent populations/samples for high priority or complex control activity reviews
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Ability to clearly express ideas and proposed solutions
Ability to partner as a team member resource
Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher
