Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst for the home lending Data Enablement team supporting Home Lending Data Product with its Metadata and Data Quality

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in moderately complex programs and initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities
Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality, data integrity, process, and control gaps
Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards
Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues
Implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources
Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
Drive planning and coordination on moderately complex remediation efforts
Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality
Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders

Requirements:

4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience
Experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
4 years of Analytics experience or equivalent in Data with knowledge of business analysis, modeling, or reporting
U.S. Banking Experience, preferably in Banking
Proficient with SQL and/or ETL with hands on working
Skilled in visualization and usage of reporting tools
Domain understanding of WFHL products and process lifecycle (Originations, Servicing, Default Operations, Risk)
Proven ability to deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to ensure analytic rigor for all work products
Experience with User Acceptance Testing/Regression Testing and creating relevant documentation
Detail oriented documentation skills
Consultative skills: can rationalize business need and solution design
Ability to perform analysis, build hypothesis, draw conclusions, and communicate clear, actionable recommendations
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and inter-personal skills

Nice to have:

Domain understanding of WFHL products and process lifecycle (Originations, Servicing, Default Operations, Risk)
U.S. Banking Experience
