Job Description:

Need a Senior Data Engineer who can design, build, and operate robust data pipelines and services on AWS. You’ll work across Python, SQL, and modern container orchestration, enabling analytics/data products at scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and microservices on AWS
  • Build containerized workloads (Docker) and orchestrate on EKS/ECS
  • Implement serverless ETL with Lambda + Step Functions
  • integrate via API Gateway & AppFlow
  • Model data and optimize Redshift (sort/dist keys, WLM, Spectrum)
  • Ensure reliability, cost optimization, and security (IAM, encryption, network)
  • Version control, code reviews, CI/CD
  • write robust tests and docs
  • Operate in Unix/Linux
  • automate with shell scripts
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, and platform teams

Requirements:

  • Advanced Python: data engineering, ETL/ELT, API integrations, unit testing, packaging
  • Advanced SQL: performance tuning, complex queries, ETL patterns, Redshift
  • AWS: S3, Redshift, Lambda, EKS/Kubernetes, ECS, Docker, Step Functions, AppFlow, API Gateway
  • Git (GitFlow)
  • Unix/Linux (shell scripting, ops)
  • Strong production troubleshooting & performance optimization
  • 8–10 years in Data Engineering/Platform Engineering
  • Proven delivery of production grade pipelines/services on AWS
  • A Bachelor’s or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for the position
