Job Description:

Take the lead in one of the most demanding data environments in the Banking sector. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global consulting powerhouse and serve as a technical anchor for high-impact projects. This is a unique opportunity to combine your deep technical knowledge with a consulting mindset. You will oversee critical data operations, ensure system enablement, and provide the technical "green light" for complex Risk IT implementations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design, optimization, and maintenance of on-premise MS SQL data structures
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical guidance and mentorship to project implementation teams
  • Drive operations & enablement initiatives to ensure system stability and performance within the bank
  • Collaborate with software engineers, utilizing your .NET exposure to bridge the gap between application logic and data layers
  • Support high-stakes projects within the Risk IT domain, ensuring data integrity and technical excellence

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a mastery of MS SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, Performance Tuning)
  • Proven experience in on-premise environments
  • Solid exposure to .NET technologies (C#) to facilitate seamless collaboration with dev teams
  • Previous experience in the Banking sector, specifically within Risk IT (Credit Risk, Market Risk, etc.) will be considered as
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • ability to influence and guide technical stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to thrive in a high-compliance, consulting environment
