Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across the organization. You’ll play a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions by ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and scalable. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also mentor junior engineers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and contribute to the overall data strategy and architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Build and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting (Power BI, Fabric, or similar)
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across platforms
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business units to deliver insightful, actionable data
  • Leverage cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to support data infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries, data processes, and integrations
  • Stay current with emerging data engineering tools and best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Contribute to the overall data strategy and architecture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar BI tools
  • Proven experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus)
  • Solid understanding of ETL frameworks, data warehousing, and big data tools
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
