Circle K Business Centre is a shared service center which supports Circle K Europe operations through a wide range of services within Finance & Control, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Transport Fuel and Customer Service. In the last few years, our continuously growing development teams (currently over 200 skilled IT professionals) have successfully implemented and deployed various software solutions to Circle K customers across Europe and North America. Among the solutions you will find web applications, native mobile applications and technical components.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows supporting enterprise analytics and reporting
Build and optimize batch and orchestration-based workflows using tools such as Databricks and cloud-native scheduling services
Develop and maintain SQL and Python based data transformations across curated and analytical data layers
Work with cloud data platforms and services (ex Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent) to ensure scalability, performance and reliability
Collaborate with global data engineering teams to implement shared standards, reusable components and best practices
Support data quality, monitoring and operational stability of production data pipelines
Partner with business and analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and onboarding within the global data engineering community
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal controls and organizational procedures
Responsibility for qualitative performance of the duties determined in the position description

Requirements:
Proven experience in data engineering or software development roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analytics
Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools (ex Databricks, Airflow)
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling and analytics use cases
Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
