As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building the next generation of copilots and intelligent data agents that empower key business decisions by Microsoft leadership through data-driven insights and automation. Our mission is to revolutionize how data is engineered, analyzed, and activated—leveraging generative AI to deliver scalable, adaptive, and intuitive solutions that drive business and revenue growth.

Job Responsibility:

Architect and build intelligent agents that automate data workflows, insights generation, and stakeholder interactions
Integrate generative AI into data engineering pipelines and analytics platforms to enable scalable and adaptive solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and engineering partners to deliver high-impact outcomes
Implement agent-based systems focused on data and insights
Ensure performance, reliability, and security of solutions across diverse data environments

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering
OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering
OR equivalent experience
1+ year(s) with enterprise-scale data governance, security, and compliance
1+ year(s) demonstrated success in delivering products that drive measurable business impact
1+ year(s) knowledge in data engineering and AI-driven analytics
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Nice to have:

Experience in Product led growth analytics
Experience in AI-driven analytics
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering
