Senior Data Engineer

• Design and implement secure and scalable data pipelines and products
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing data workflows and queries for optimal performance
• Develop and enforce data governance, security, and privacy standards
• Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications
• Participate in project planning, identifying key milestones and resource requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate business needs and prioritize data solutions
• Conduct technical peer reviews to ensure the quality of data engineering deliverables
• Support production operations and resolve issues efficiently
• Contribute to architectural improvements and innovation within data systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on analytics
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Proficiency in big data technologies, including Synapse and Databricks, for 3+ years
• Strong experience with scripting languages like Python and PowerShell for 3+ years
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Certifications in Epic Cogito, Clarity Data Model, or Caboodle Data Model
