Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with Practice Management and Growth Consulting leadership to identify, define, and solve a variety of complex business problems and opportunities
Lead, manage, and execute data analysis projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to project scope, and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and maintain a series of performance dashboards and management reports that provide actionable insights
Become the subject matter expert on Practice Management and Growth Consulting data, ensuring quality and reliability, providing feedback to business process owners and the IT department as needed
Proactively evaluate and propose enhancements to procedures and technical infrastructure
Develop statistical models and methodologies to predict, quantify, or forecast various operational and performance metrics
Mentor less experienced analysts, providing training on analytical techniques to foster their development and ensure team cohesion
Support firm-level initiatives and ad hoc requests as needed
Requirements:
Knowledge and demonstrated experience using statistical and machine learning models and methods
Advanced knowledge of large relational databases and SQL programming
Familiarity with data mining, reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau
Awareness of relevant emerging tools and techniques that can be adopted at Raymond James
Knowledge of practice management solutions and services not required, but preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, SQL, PowerPoint and Tableau, with hands-on experience using CRM tools
Simplification and presentation of time series and cross-sectional data
Application of mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, test reliability and validity assessment, analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
Advanced data visualization and communication skills with a proficiency for conveying complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to successfully project manage multiple assignments and meet SLA/delivery requirements
Meeting or exceeding client service expectations set by leadership
Ability to engage directly with business leaders to thoroughly understand their business needs
Ability to effectively communicate and present research-driven recommendations to management
Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
