Audit and Risk Recruitment has partnered with multi-billion pound listed company who are seeking to find an Audit Analytics lead to spearhead the innovation of data analytics inside their Audit function. As part of the truly Global team, you will collaborate with their internationally reaching Audit team, working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and suppliers to deliver audit, assurance and advisory services. Our client continuously analyse, monitor and evaluate risks and promote a culture of best practices and continuous improvement. Their team provides insights and guidance to Executive Management and our organization to help make key decisions. You will be part of a high performing team that solves complex problems while delivering assurance and consulting services for the company globally. You will design and implement descriptive and predictive analytic, continuous monitoring, and RPA tools to facilitate audit efficiencies, enhance controls and compliance and deliver valuable insights across the enterprise.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing an understanding of company processes, risks, and opportunities for data analytics through research and interviews with subject matter expert colleagues
  • Designing and implementing analytical tools, including data extraction, analyses, dashboards, scorecards, and reports
  • Utilise SQL and Power BI to integrate complex continuous Audit monitoring solutions
  • Have the freedom to work on numerous analytics projects across Audit and Compliance, expanding your data analytics knowledge in Python and wider coding languages
  • Analysing data and processes to identify improvements to business processes and financial reporting
  • Developing sound recommendations for improvements to controls and business processes and document work performed to support conclusions and recommendations

Requirements

  • Internal or external audit experience along with a recognised qualification (ideally)- ACA, ACCA, CISA, CIMA, CRISC
  • Exposure to SQL, Power bi or Alteryx
  • Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to personal development
