Starship is growing fast, and we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our data team to add strategic strength to the organisation. Our data team fuels Starship by turning billions of complex robot interactions into simple and actionable intelligence. We are the strategic problem-solvers who break down the cross-functional complexity driving our business. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will step in as a key strategic partner to our Commercial leaders, building the logic that proves the undeniable value of our technology and secures our next level of commercial success!

Job Responsibility:

Identifying the root causes behind business trends to solve complex commercial problems
Empowering Commercial leaders by moving beyond static reports to build dynamic data tools
Designing the commercial reporting architecture to condense massive datasets into simple, easily consumable insights
Taking over and improving the robot allocation process to ensure we are commercially optimizing where our fleet is deployed to match demand and maximize revenue potential across different sites

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Scientist
Previous experience in a role involving business, growth, or product analysis
Strong SQL skills working with complex datasets
Proficient in English
Experience with driving large topics end-to-end, from rough idea to proposing a plan, and then executing the solution, to presenting it in a way that is understandable and useful for everyone
An attitude that everything is doable. You focus on the impact, not the beauty of the method - deciding pragmatically when to solve a problem with a simple spreadsheet and when to build a dashboard, data pipeline, or ML model
The ability to articulate your ideas across diverse stakeholders, including engineering, commercial teams, and senior management
