Job Description:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing technical and functional requirements, working on improving the current software solution. You will be part of a mixed agile team composed of designers, developers and testers.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze and implement technical and functional requirements
Work on improving the current software solution
Use of statistical techniques and data mining methodologies to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in data
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models to ensure effective data collection and analysis
Contribute to database design, including data collection mechanisms, data warehousing and data integration strategies
Work closely with IT teams to ensure that the infrastructure supports the required data analytics capabilities
Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and performance metrics, transactional and behavioural data analytics
Present findings to business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:

5+ years of IT experience
Hands-on experience in data analysis / business analysis / reporting
Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques such as SQL, Python, R or similar programming languages
Experience in ETL tools
Experience with Power BI
Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics)
Strong proficiency in DBT (data builder tool) for data transformation
Strong understanding of data modelling and database design principles
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Problem solving and decision making skills
Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
Experience with effective communication at different levels of the organisation and in English
