Job Description:

A specialized Canadian consulting firm providing high-level database and support services for charitable organizations. We turn technical obstacles into fundraising opportunities, ensuring our clients’ data is clean, their reports are insightful, and their missions are well-funded. This is a senior-level position designed for someone who understands the logic behind data and can translate it into actionable strategies for non-profit leaders. You will manage projects for 6–10 charitable clients simultaneously, bridging the gap between complex technical systems and fundraising goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Import and export complex files between systems using Excel as your primary medium and integration tools for data transfers
  • Identify data integrity issues and build automated workflows to fix them
  • Use Excel (Pivot Tables) and Power BI to create high-level reports, gift tracking, and benchmarking
  • Spend 30–50% of your time in client-facing meetings, explaining technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Oversee full-scale CRM implementations and re-vamps using industry-standard tools (Raiser’s Edge & NXT)

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years in a senior role, ideally within the non-profit sector
  • Mastery of Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data manipulation) and Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge / NXT
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and Project Management/Time Tracking tools (like Harvest)
  • Exceptional ability to solve problems and clearly explain the "why" to clients
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following complex instructions while identifying process improvements
