Job Description:

Senior Individual Contributor / Strategic Hunter & Farmer role at SDG Group, a global consultancy focused on delivering Data & Analytics Solutions. The role involves operating in a high-stakes environment with a bold approach to complex business challenges, working in total alignment with the Operations team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Opening doors from scratch (Hunting) and scaling existing accounts (Revamping)
  • Cross-selling, expanding into new departments, and penetrating international subsidiaries
  • Co-lead the Account Plan alongside the Operations Lead
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our strategic Technology Partners (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) in assigned markets
  • Co-sell, manage referrals, and align our go-to-market strategies with partners' local teams
  • Design tailored entry strategies for 'Mighty Mid-Market' accounts and execute them relentlessly from initial contact to contract signature

Requirements:

  • 5–9 years of experience in selling professional services within Data Consulting, Analytics, or AI
  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales targets for professional services
  • Experience with a proven track record selling software is a plus
  • Ability to independently generate and qualify leads within the Upper Mid Market and Enterprise Segment (€600M – €4B turnover)
  • Experience building long-term roadmaps to position as a strategic partner
  • Proficiency in closing deals under both Fixed Price and Working Packages (Managed Time & Materials Service) models
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles (6–12 months) involving multiple global stakeholders and procurement departments
  • Ability to navigate the bureaucracy of large enterprises
  • Utilized effective sales methodologies such as consultative selling, solution selling, or value-based selling
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome objections
  • Proficient in using CRM tools to manage sales activities and track progress (Hubspot)
  • Deep understanding of the data and analytics industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer pain points
  • Experience selling data-driven solutions or analytics software/services to relevant industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with partners within the Data & AI ecosystem
  • Understanding of partnership dynamics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • English Native/Bilingual or Full Professional Proficiency, capable of negotiating complex global contracts
  • French or German language skills a significant advantage
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time, primarily within Europe and occasionally to the United States
