Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Dashboard Programmer/Developer Analyst position involves system design, hands-on coding, and strong problem-solving skills for building secure, high-performing applications. Responsibilities include migrating dashboards from Qlik Sense to Tableau, managing existing code bases, delivering new products, and enhancing current systems while working with a global team.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development
establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs
monitor and control all phases of development, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
provide user and operational support on applications
analyze complex problems/issues and evaluate business and system processes
recommend and develop security measures
define operating standards and processes
drive the adoption of modern engineering ways of working, including Agile and DevOps
advocate for automated testing, infrastructure as code, and continuous monitoring
conduct code reviews
enforce secure coding practices

Requirements:

12+ years of overall experience
8+ years of relevant experience in Tableau/Qlik Sense
2+ years experience in the financial services industry
experience with high-performance & high-volume integrated dashboard development
database performance tuning
strong Qlik Sense knowledge
expertise in Mashup to build dashboards
experience migrating Qlik Sense dashboards to Tableau
knowledge of design methodologies
sound analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills
familiarity with trade life cycle and associated business processes
ability to adapt to changing business requirements and technology
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Post-trade processing experience
experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
unit testing
experience adopting Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
knowledge of automated testing
infrastructure as code
continuous monitoring
secure coding practices
vulnerability assessments
