Job Description:

A Senior Developer specialized in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), with strong expertise in X++ development, customizations for general ledger processing, and high-volume transaction handling in cloud environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom extensions for general journal processing, including data entities like LedgerJournalHeader and LedgerJournalLine
  • Implement business logic for transaction validation, reconciliation, and posting workflows within D365 Finance
  • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity with external systems
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance for high-volume transaction processing
  • Document technical specifications and support deployment in cloud environments

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in D365 Finance & Operations development with deep expertise in X++ programming, data entities, and extensions
  • Proven experience customizing general ledger modules, journals, posting processes, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions
  • Strong knowledge of D365 tools: Visual Studio, LCS, Azure DevOps for CI/CD, unit testing frameworks (SysTest), and debugging
  • Familiarity with financial data handling, error management, batch processing, and integration patterns (DMF, OData)
  • Experience with D365 workflows, security roles, and reporting tools (SSRS)
  • Background in performance tuning, data migration projects, and handling large datasets in ERP environments
  • Hands-on experience with D365 Finance integrations using REST APIs, DMF packages, and OData endpoints
  • Experience with external systems for financial data consolidation and ERP connectivity, including mapping tools (XSLT for XML)
  • Proficiency in tools like Postman, Azure Logic Apps, and scripting (C#, PowerShell) for API orchestration and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of data mapping, XML/CSV/JSON formats, and handling large transaction volumes with retries, idempotency, and throttling
  • Expertise in Azure integration services (Service Bus, Event Grid, Function Apps) and monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics)
  • Background in secure integrations, encryption, compliance standards, and handling sensitive financial data
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems, implementing webhooks or event-driven architectures, and working with CI/CD pipelines
