Job Description:

IKEA is seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to lead and support eDiscovery efforts, manage confidential data, and provide technical solutions for legal processes. The role involves close collaboration with legal teams, training, and improving eDiscovery capabilities for the North American market.

Job Responsibility:

Support legal teams with preserving data, implementing litigation holds, and collecting eDiscovery materials
coordinate data transfer and storage
manage the eDiscovery lifecycle
design and lead improvements to eDiscovery capabilities
ensure data collected aligns with legal specifications
maintain documentation of eDiscovery processes
apply standard processes for litigation support projects
carry out day-to-day document and evidence collection maintenance and administration
ensure quality of document images
collaborate with attorneys, consultants, and teams
manage collection, processing, review, and hosting of electronic data
train and advise legal teams on technological applications
provide technical solutions for managing data.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in Microsoft Purview and eDiscovery processes
ability to lead a response to preservation and data collection requests
experience with eDiscovery methodologies and legal processes in the United States
minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting legal teams with preserving and collecting data for eDiscovery
familiarity with Microsoft Purview and its eDiscovery features
strong written and verbal communications skills
ability to translate technical terminology to a non-technical audience
ability to build strong relationships in large organizations
curiosity and desire to learn
ability to manage highly confidential information and act with professional discretion.
