Job Description:

Our client, a leader in the HCM space is in need of a Senior Cybersecurity/DevSec Ops Engineer for a 1-2 year contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This individual will be working a hybrid schedule, with 50% onsite out of the Reston VA office. This individual will be responsible for building, deploying/operating security tooling, developing security standards and implementing technical controls in support of the platforms and infrastructure used by our client. They should have strong experience securing infrastructure on AWS or a similar production environment. This individual will need a deep understanding of network, application and platform security tools and concepts as well as common encryption functions and authorization schemas. They should also understand application, system and security threats, attack techniques and mitigating controls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Building, deploying/operating security tooling
  • Developing security standards and implementing technical controls in support of the platforms and infrastructure used by our client

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands on experience supporting Cyber Security engineering in large scale cloud infrastructure environments
  • Experience working w/ Kubernetes and containerization
  • Experience securing infrastructure in AWS environments
  • Strong knowledge of network, application and platform security tools and concepts as well as knowledge of common encryption functions and authorization schemas
  • Active TS SCI w/ CI Poly Clearance
