Job Description:

Checkr is building the data platform to power safe and fair decisions. Established in 2014, Checkr’s innovative technology and robust data platform help customers assess risk and ensure safety and compliance to build trusted workplaces and communities. Checkr has over 100,000 customers including DoorDash, Coinbase, Lyft, Instacart, and Airtable. The Senior Customer Systems Engineer role involves owning the end-to-end development lifecycle for new features in Salesforce Service Cloud and Zendesk, collaborating with analysts, designing scalable solutions with AI integration, and optimizing customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for new features within Salesforce Service Cloud and Zendesk
Collaborate with business systems analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions that integrate Salesforce's Einstein capabilities and other AI services
Partner with other engineers to architect new features and ensure seamless integration
Maintain a customer-centric and data-driven approach, monitor the performance of features, troubleshoot issues, and inform future enhancements

Requirements:

5+ years of Salesforce development experience
Zendesk development experience is a plus
Demonstrated experience with the full software development lifecycle within an Agile or Scrum environment
Strong command of development tools like Git, SFDX CLI, DevOps pipelines, and/or other development tools
A strong sense of ownership and accountability for the entire feature lifecycle
A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning
Bonus points: Experience with Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, chatbots, or other AI tooling
