Job Description:

The Senior Customer Service Representative is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient patient interactions. The Senior Customer Service Representative will excel in providing exceptional service while maintaining a detail-oriented approach and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

Assist patients with inquiries and concerns in a friendly and detail-oriented manner
Handle check-in and check-out processes, including registration and cashiering duties
Maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure efficiency and a detail-oriented approach
Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and securely
Uphold courteous communication standards when interacting with patients and team members
Support ambulatory services by ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction
Collaborate with offshore teams to align service delivery and enhance overall operations
Utilize TRICARE and NIS systems effectively to manage patient information and streamline processes

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year of direct, face-to-face customer service experience
Minimum 1 year of cash handling or collections experience
At least 6 months in a customer-facing role in a medical office, healthcare setting, or service-related industry
Proficiency with Windows-based software (Word, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information

Nice to have:

Knowledge of insurance plans including HMO, PPO, EPO, and Medicare Advantage
Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic
Bilingual – English/Spanish
