With a strong UK presence and a reputation for quality, innovation, and long-term brand building, they are now looking for a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to play a key role in shaping shopper experiences across Sainsbury's and Asda, bringing iconic brands to life through impactful customer activations.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the customer marketing strategy and activation plans across Sainsbury's and Asda
  • Translate brand strategies into compelling shopper-led campaigns that drive growth for both the business and retail partners
  • Develop and deliver omnichannel customer activations across retail media, shopper marketing, and in-store channels
  • Manage A&P and retail media budgets, ensuring investment is aligned with key brands and commercial priorities
  • Build strong relationships with customer buying, category, and marketing teams to deliver best-in-class activations
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Category, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to bring customer plans to life
  • Evaluate campaign performance against KPIs, applying insights and learnings to optimise future activity
  • Support the wider Off Trade Customer Marketing strategy and identify new opportunities to drive brand growth

Requirements

  • Experienced within Customer/Shopper/Trade Marketing within FMCG
  • Strong understanding of grocery retail customers, with experience developing customer plans, JBPs, and shopper activations
  • Commercially minded with the ability to translate consumer and shopper insights into impactful customer solutions
  • Confident managing budgets, projects, and agency relationships to deliver against business objectives
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder, comfortable influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, organised, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
