The Sr. Culinary Operations Specialist supports the day-to-day configuration and accuracy of the Agilysys POS system to ensure reliable front-of-house execution of menus, rewards, and transactions across the culinary program. This role partners closely with culinary leadership, site teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate culinary, operational, and brand requirements into accurate system updates that help deliver a consistent experience for approximately 2,500 employees.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a subject matter expert and primary owner of the Agilysys POS and Nutrislice systems
Process updates to POS menus, pricing, rewards programs, gift cards, refunds, and related system functionality
Coordinate POS-related communication with culinary teams and site leadership
Partner daily with Site Chefs and Sous Chefs to ensure menu adherence, accuracy, and consistency
Manage for POS system updates, signage, and brand adherence
Identify routine system and operational issues, troubleshoot within defined parameters, and escalate complex challenges
Assist with cross-functional workstreams related to POS operations
Ensure accuracy and integrity of menu displays, nutritional information, pricing, and guest-facing systems
Support monthly operational and financial reporting related to POS sales and performance
Track and maintain performance metrics and operational KPIs
Provide data, insights, and reporting support to senior culinary leadership
Handle confidential and business-critical information appropriately

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to essential duties
or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience
5 years of experience in culinary operations, food service operations, POS system management, or related operational roles
Advanced proficiency in POS systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation

Nice to have:
Experience serving as a primary POS system owner in a multi-site food service or corporate dining environment
Experience supporting rewards programs, gift card programs, and refund workflows
Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams and provide functional guidance without direct supervisory responsibility
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to design solutions where precedent may not exist
