Own, design and continuously evolve the Credit Risk Management Framework, ensuring it supports strong decision-making, clear governance and proportionate control in a high-growth environment

Act as a key second line partner for new and evolving products, providing early risk input to product design, credit policy and decisioning to ensure robust controls from launch
Ensure credit risk remains within appetite during periods of rapid growth, identifying emerging risks, concentrations and control weaknesses and driving appropriate escalation and mitigation
Deliver targeted credit risk assurance activity, including thematic reviews and deep dives focused on areas of highest change or risk
Support effective risk governance through high-quality committee papers, clear articulation of risk trade-offs and practical recommendations
Build strong, constructive relationships with first line teams while maintaining independent judgement and challenge
Line management of a team of credit risk professionals

Confidence operating in fast-paced, high-growth settings with evolving products and strategies
Strong judgement, communication skills and the ability to influence senior decision-makers

Experience within a non-bank, specialist lender or fintech environment
