Job Responsibility:

  • Agree payment terms for tenant arrears, within the set business guidelines
  • Work effectively with internal departments to assist with customer queries
  • Ensure that all customer communications are responded to appropriately and in line with internal KPIs
  • Review accounts during each step of the credit control process to ensure all queries are closed prior instructing solicitors
  • Work as part of a team on all general administration of the credit control & accounts shared inbox
  • Support other departments if funds are low and require urgent chasing
  • Support the other credit control team members in their daily duties
  • Carry out ongoing training to the credit control team, when required
  • Be a point of contact for other credit controllers, whilst supporting the credit manager
  • Complete client reports for Board members
  • Review late payment fee remove requests and remove as required
  • Contact solicitors when cases need to be referred due to non-payment
  • Respond to leaseholder/freeholder complaints in a timely manner
  • Run arrears reports on ad hoc basis for property managers, head of finance manager and Directors if required
  • Constantly assess credit control procedures to make sure they are working effectively alongside the credit manager
