Job Responsibility
Critically evaluating business financials, including P&L, balance sheets, tax returns, and cash flow
Using sophisticated credit models to accurately score business applicants and clients for credit facilities
Ensuring all activities align with the Australian regulatory environment, specifically NCCP and Responsible Lending obligations
Preparing detailed credit memos and presenting structures, terms, and conditions to senior management and credit committees
Working closely with Sales and Enablement teams to assess risk and provide advice on ad hoc credit queries
Contributing to the continuous improvement of credit policies and supporting the Chief Risk Officer with reporting requirements
Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years in credit analysis across both consumer and commercial lending sectors
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance (preferred), Business, or Commerce
Well versed in Australian consumer credit laws and regulations
Advanced ability to interpret complex financial data and proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal skills for report preparation and stakeholder presentations
Superior attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask in a disciplined, in-office environment
