As a Senior Creative Strategist, you’ll sit within Acast Creative, our award-winning in-house team. You’ll shape and deliver standout branded content campaigns that live across audio, video and beyond, from idea through to execution with our roster of podcasters. That includes ideating original and exciting branded content ideas - building them into compelling pitch decks, directing shoots with talent, and ensuring Acast Creative delivers the best output possible for audiences and brands alike. You’ll lead large-scale campaigns end to end, creating ideas that resonate with both audiences and brands, crafting high-quality Google Slides responses, and bringing them to life by owning the creative across production. From writing treatments and directing talent to collaborating with internal teams and external partners. You will be responsible for ensuring positive and productive collaborations with internal teams, developing strong working relationships with creators, clients and production partners, as well as maintaining a high standard of output through our campaigns.
Job Responsibility:
Develop market-leading ideas in response to branded content partnership briefs built around podcasts across the Acast network
Work with Brand Partnerships team to manage campaigns through to delivery including writing treatments, social frameworks, liaising with creators and production teams, and directing shoots
Collaborate with other members of the Acast Creative team to shape and activate branded-content pitches and campaigns
Be available to direct podcast productions or activate branded content campaigns sold by the wider team
Work with Brand Partnerships and the Sales team to ensure creative resources are used efficiently
Work with external partners on development and production
Identify new formats, campaign types, and opportunities for Acast Creative
Contribute to improving ways of working
Present internally, to clients, and at industry events on creative possibilities within podcasting
Support the growth of Acast Creative as the home of creative excellence for brands
Requirements:
2+ years experience of leading on the conception of creative ideas that are used to win client briefs
strong understanding of what makes effective branded content
regular podcast listener who understands why the medium is popular
solid understanding of the podcast ecosystem and a strong awareness of the cultural zeitgeist
confident working independently but also within a fast-paced team environment
comfortable directing talent and taking ownership of a set
strong confidence in ability to create compelling responses to briefs with sharp insights and detailed idea laydowns
