The Senior Counsel - Mammoth Care will serve as a strategic legal and business partner to the Mammoth Care business unit of Mammoth Brands Inc., which includes the Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume and Mando brands. This role will support key aspects of the business unit’s commercial activities and help shape and execute relevant legal strategies that enable Mammoth Care’s near- and long-term growth. This role requires a senior, business-oriented attorney who combines strong commercial judgment with a deep understanding of the business unit’s brands, operations and stakeholders. The Senior Counsel will work closely with Mammoth Care leadership and cross-functional partners to identify risks, unlock opportunities, and deliver pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a key business partner and advisor to select members of the Mammoth Care executive team and commercial functions across the business unit
Develop and execute legal strategies that align with and support Mammoth Care’s near- and long-term growth plans
Advise on, negotiate, and draft complex commercial transactions and agreements, balancing legal risk with business priorities
Collaborate closely with Mammoth Brands enterprise-wide legal functions on employment, intellectual property, data privacy and litigation matters affecting the Mammoth Care business unit to ensure optimal business and legal outcomes
Manage outside counsel and relevant strategic and planning goals for the Mammoth Care legal function
Provide or oversee training to the business unit on pertinent legal topics, as appropriate
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and J.D.
admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Minimum of 7 years of relevant corporate and/or commercial legal experience, including significant in-house experience
Experience across a broad range of legal matters relevant to consumer companies, including commercial transactions, direct-to-consumer businesses, and data privacy
Strong judgment and the ability to provide risk-calibrated, business-focused legal advice in a fast-moving environment
Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and address “over-the-horizon” risks
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability with cross-functional partners
Clear and effective communicator, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance
Role model for company culture and norms, including ownership and constructive partnership with the business
