Job Description

Apollo is hiring a Senior Counsel, Product to serve in a key support capacity for both the Legal team and the broader Apollo.io product and engineering teams. This role is designed to be a “builder-operator” position: you will uplevel product counseling processes, implement scalable operating mechanisms, and provide clear risk guidance in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (and ability to obtain in-house registration as required)
  • 7-10 years of legal experience (law firm + in-house strongly preferred)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, remote-first, global tech company
  • B2B SaaS strongly preferred
  • Ability to translate between business and technical risk and communicate clearly to business and technical constituencies
  • Strong understanding of consumer protection laws and/or global data privacy laws
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Builder-mentality - a roll-up your sleeves attitude to tackle with a collaborative, low-ego approach to collaborating across the organization

Nice to have

  • Understanding of AI/ML legal and related regulatory landscape, including AI governance
  • Comfortable with and/or interested in using AI tools to enhance drafting, research, and workflow efficiency
