The Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement team sits within Robinhood’s Legal and Corporate Affairs organization and is responsible for managing the firm’s litigation, arbitration, and regulatory enforcement matters while providing practical risk guidance to the business. As Senior Counsel, Litigation & Arbitration, you will represent Robinhood in customer dispute resolution matters, including litigation and arbitration, and advise the firm on litigation risk. You will play a key role in managing customer disputes nationwide, contributing to regulatory enforcement matters as needed, and helping the business proactively address and mitigate risk.

Job Responsibility:

  • Represent Robinhood in customer dispute resolution matters, including arbitrations before FINRA, AAA, NFA, and other arbitral forums
  • Manage customer litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions, from early assessment through resolution
  • Partner closely with outside counsel to oversee litigation and arbitration strategy, case management, and outcomes
  • Contribute to regulatory enforcement matters and internal or external investigations as needed
  • Work with internal business partners to assess litigation risk, address pre-litigation disputes, and support risk-mitigation strategies
  • Assist with oversight of subpoena responses and other third-party legal process matters

Requirements:

  • J.D. and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
  • 5+ years of meaningful litigation experience, including responsibility for managing cases or matters
  • Experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency is preferred
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
