• Supports senior staff in ways to make projects more efficient. Seeks ways to improve accuracy and efficiency of tasks
• Client engagement / Maintain client relationships

• Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
• Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution
• Understanding a variety of project types/sizes/sectors but preferably including Residential and Commercial
• Understanding of RIAI and GCCC standard forms of contract
• Experience of preparing bid submissions
• Prior line-management experience or mentoring
• Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on procurement, cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
• Client facing/stakeholder management experience
