Job Responsibility:
Review and develop construction cost budgets for feasibility Studies, Preliminary, Schematic, Design documents & Construction document budgets in support for client construction projects
Cost report management and monthly reporting
Compare budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities and scope items as well as assist in value engineering
Provide support during general contractor and architect sourcing, while also participating in both the general contractor and architect interviews, bid leveling process, recommendation & award
Compile project unit pricing and labor rates from contractors and ensure the contractors abide the rates throughout the project duration
Enhance overall cost controls service delivery by increasing efficiency and improving processes
Support in developing and maintaining customers historical cost benchmark for various project types
Prioritize requests to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations
Support the development and recommendations for a multi-year capital plan for the account
Present findings around project demand and prioritization
Provide superior client service through objective recommendations
Enhance own professional and personal skills
Ensure monthly review meetings are held with the regional clients to assess and confirm project health
Work with internal and external clients to ensure the accuracy and continuous improvement of the capital forecast
Drive technology enablement and adoptions with internal and external clients
Ensure project requests are reviewed from various requestors and coordinate with stakeholders
Build rapport with regional client representatives and ensure overall goals of the capital plan are fully understood
Oversee the development and refinement of best practices and standards of excellence and ensure their incorporation into the project controls process and procedures
Ensure the CPM’s review the regional projects for scope, budget, and schedule
Review capital plan for bundling opportunities and efficiency gains
Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice
Requirements:
Certified Cost Professional or Quantity Surveyor, or similar certification and experience, preferred
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management strongly preferred
5+ years of construction, estimating or project controls experience
Strong leadership and employee management skills
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
