The purpose of a Senior Cost Engineer is to review and validate project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning processes. This role involves collaborating and challenging project teams to provide cost effective estimates in accordance with schedule and execution plan.
Job Responsibility:

Collaborate and challenge project teams to provide cost effective estimates in accordance with schedule and execution plan
Verification, consolidation of accurate estimates, effective management, and reliable control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and control cost estimates
Analyze cost variances
Ensure that projects are completed within approved budgets
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support effective decision making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cost engineering, project cost control, or a similar role
Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas preferred
Professional certification (e.g., AACE, PMP, CCE) is a plus
