This role supports financial accuracy, reporting, and operational decision‑making across a diverse portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and execute accurate billing
Complete monthly, quarterly, and year‑end account reconciliations with supporting schedules
Analyze operational and job‑specific costs and provide insights to leadership
Identify issues and ensure timely recording of adjustments
Support annual audit and tax processes
Participate in daily accounting operations as needed
Maintain fixed asset and equipment management records and reconciliations
Map revenue and costs to the general ledger to ensure accuracy
Assist with establishing cost standards and cost allocations
Maintain accurate project financial and demographic data
Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce cost, and increase profitability
Collaborate with internal teams and support broader accounting functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3–5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant, Cost Accountant, or related role
Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial reporting, and cost analysis
Advanced skills in mathematics and statistics
Ability to prepare financial reports and provide data‑driven recommendations
Experience with ERP systems (Vista experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Experience maintaining sub-ledgers, supporting spreadsheets, and handling intercompany transactions
