Job Responsibility:
Establish and manage standard costs for co-manufactured products
Conduct detailed analyses of product-level variances to identify cost drivers
Contribute to inventory valuation, audit readiness, and month-end closing activities
Validate and reconcile invoices and charges from co-manufacturers
Collaborate with teams across Finance, Procurement, and Operations, as well as external partners
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting cost sensitivity analyses
Ensure accuracy in cost data and enhance data integrity within organizational systems
Develop scalable processes to improve efficiency and streamline costing operations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within manufacturing or food production
Proficiency in standard costing methodologies, bills of materials (BOMs), and inventory transactions
Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems
Advanced skills in Excel and strong analytical capabilities
Ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Solid understanding of cost analysis principles and manufacturing cost accounting processes
