United Way of Tarrant County (UWTC) is seeking a strategic fundraising leader to oversee our Corporate Relations team. The Senior Director of Corporate Relations is responsible for overseeing all Corporate Relations employees and developing, executing and achieving UWTC's corporate fundraising and relationship management objectives by growing and strengthening relationships with specific organizations and the employees within those organizations on a year-round basis. The Senior Director of Corporate Relations maximizes workplace giving through a concerted effort to establish, grow, and deepen relationships with company leadership, key influencers, stakeholders and donors with the goal of retaining the current donor base, while reaching new donors and growing revenue. The Senior Director of Corporate Relations will develop, implement and manage strategically guided multi-year plans directed at new business development.
Job Responsibility:
Initiate, build and sustain positive year-round relationships with key stakeholders (business leaders, donors, prospects and volunteers) through facilitating best practices for workplace campaigns and sponsorship presentations within assigned portfolio resulting in donor retention and revenue growth
Lead business development efforts of the Corporate Relations team, including pursuing new business relationships and directing the same for members of the team
Stay apprised of trends or issues in relevant industries that affect business climate or culture and economic environment that could impact fundraising
Conduct data analysis to identify account strengths and opportunities, develop best practices, and create comprehensive development plans
Design and execute plans that ensure the cultivation of relationships and drive revenue growth through the workplace campaign and other engagement opportunities
Project portfolio performance and implement corrective measures when projections and goals are not meeting expectations
Frequent public speaking engagements to groups, articulating UWTC's goals, activities and results persuasively driving donations
Practice timely and thorough customer service by promptly handing inquiries, valuing donor gifts regardless of size, and regularly communicating about UWTC products and results
Participate in community organizations and endeavors to expand professional network and increase awareness of UWTC
Closely monitor business activity and identify businesses not currently running a United Way campaign to identify top potential development opportunities
Work collaboratively with United Way key volunteers to develop and strengthen relationships with new accounts
Serve as team lead on various projects as defined by the Chief Development Officer
Be an expert in new business prospect practices and technology
Understand and promote UWTC's mission
Additional projects as assigned
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States (No Sponsorship)
Must have a minimum of 5 years of fundraising management experience at a non-profit organization and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments within a similar role
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both verbal and written
Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution, while meeting deadlines
High attention to detail in working with all aspects of account management
Ability to express thoughts or ideas in a clear and concise message
Personal values consistent with United Way mission: integrity, goal-oriented, strong work ethic
Must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders

Demonstrated working knowledge of databases as well as MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
Organizational/management/administrative skills are required
Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds with assistance of 2-wheel dolly if necessary
Bachelor-level degree or requisite experience in a related field with strong sales and public speaking experience
Excellent leadership, team building, interpersonal and time management skills
