Job Description

We are looking for a 10+ Year Attorney specializing in corporate law and commercial transactions to join our mid-sized law firm client's team in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. This role emphasizes business and commercial law, including the negotiation and drafting of complex agreements. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing sophisticated commercial matters with precision and efficiency. This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Arizona or have the ability to waive in by motion.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft, review, and negotiate intricate commercial contracts, including business-to-business supply agreements
  • Provide legal guidance on matters related to corporate law and real estate transactions
  • Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and distributors to ensure agreements align with business objectives
  • Analyze and address complex legal issues with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring compliance
  • Represent manufacturers in their business arrangements with customers, distributors, and suppliers
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and the preparation of closing documents

Requirements

  • Strong academic background coupled with exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience working with manufacturers in business-to-business arrangements is preferred
  • Proficiency in handling mergers, acquisitions, and drafting closing documents
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and professionals across diverse markets
  • Prior experience in both big law firms and in-house counsel roles is highly desirable
  • Expertise in contract negotiations and commercial real estate transactions
