As a Senior Corporate Credit Analyst (VP), you will oversee the credit management of a high-profile portfolio of North American Industrials clients. This role gives you a seat at the table with senior leadership and managing directors, allowing you to influence new business deals, assess complex M&A/LBO transactions, and directly impact the bank’s growth strategy in a highly visible position.
Job Responsibility
Portfolio Management: Monitor the credit quality, quarterly performance, and covenant compliance of North American Industrial and LBO corporate clients
Credit Analysis & Writing: Analyze financial statements, industry research, and lender presentations to prepare detailed credit memoranda for renewals, amendments, and new transactions
Stakeholder Presentation: Present credit risk assessments and strategic recommendations to Credit Committees
Deal Support: Collaborate with Bankers on new client onboarding, prospecting, and attending client meetings
Compliance & Reporting: Maintain watchlist memos and quarterly monitoring for highly leveraged accounts, and manage internal/external loan audits
Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or CFA designation
5–6+ years in corporate banking, credit management, or a rating agency, with strong exposure to M&A/LBO structures
Advanced financial statement analysis, corporate credit assessment, financial modeling (Excel), and a strong understanding of loan structures/credit agreements
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage constructively with senior stakeholders
