The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in managing the corporate general ledger and supporting financial leadership in enhancing cash management and cash forecasting processes. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and frequent collaboration with teams across the organization. Prior experience in commercial real estate accounting is strongly preferred.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and reconcile corporate general ledger accounts, including intercompany activity
Ensure accounts payable processes follow established internal controls and policies
Provide support for various payroll-related functions
Analyze corporate financial performance and present insights to senior leadership
Partner with property accounting teams to ensure accurate consolidation of financial data
Assist with corporate budgeting activities
Strengthen and formalize cash management and cash forecasting procedures
Prepare ad hoc reports and financial analyses as needed
Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
CPA or active CPA candidate preferred
4+ years of relevant accounting experience
real estate or public accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
Working knowledge of financial statements and related accounting concepts
